Life with Bray Bray

When we picked the name Brayden we didn't know what we'd call him for a nickname but once he arrived we came up with all sorts of nicknames.

Here are a few: Bray Bray, Bubba, Bugaboo, Buggy, B and Little man.

Brayden, as my mom says, is a "wirey guy." He likes to move a lot. He is very strong and started lifting his head pretty much from day one. Here are a few other things he does: Smiles (a lot), pouts with his lower lip sticking way out, laughs and coos, kick his feet so much so that he can rock himself in his carseat, plays with his hands and sits up in a Bumbo (such a big boy already at just 6 1/2 weeks!)

Here are the songs he likes Shawn and I to sing: Old McDonald (he laughs out loud at this one), Pat A Cake, the alphabet, Take Me Out to the Ballgame and his other favorite is "Low" by T. Pain -- yes, the apple bottom jeans song. This song also gets him to laugh out loud but I think he's mostly laughing at me dancing to it.

At 6 1/2 weeks he is also weighing in at 10 pounds and has outgrown most of his newborn clothes and is wearing 0-3 months and some 3 months and one 3-6 month onesie. He has also graduated from his newborn diapers to size one.
